Does DaytaTree ever view or use my data?

No. As stated in the DaytaTree privacy policy, DaytaTree will not review, share, distribute, print, or reference any such drug testing data except as provided in the subscription agreement, or as may be required by law. The only circumstances where data may at times be viewed or accessed are for the purpose of resolving a customer support problem, or suspected violation of the subscription agreement, or as may be required by law. Service subscribers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their user identification and password. The only other circumstance where DaytaTree uses customer data is to provide cumulative and anonymous statistics.

Can I use my own company policy into the DaytaTree service?

Yes. When you have received your user ID and password to log into the DaytaTree service, you can enter it using our Policy Compliance Wizard. If you already have a current company policy, simply enter the data by following our screen tutorials. Once completed, that policy is hardwired into the DaytaTree service.

What types of drugs can I test for?

You can input any drug necessary, according to your policy, into the DaytaTree service. You will see that the service is configured for NIDA-5 plus alcohol as a default. The NIDA-5 drugs consist of: cannabinoids, cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, and PCP.

What is DOT complaint mean?

In 1991, the United States Federal Government passed The Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act, requiring drug and alcohol testing of safety-sensitive transportation employees in fields including: aviation, trucking, railroads, mass transit, pipelines and other transportation industries. The Department of Transportation defines the rules on all aspects from who must control your drug and alcohol tests, to how the tests are conducted, as well as what measures are to be followed.

Whether you are an Employer or an Industry Professional running the DaytaTree service, you have the ability to control who has access to your data through issuing personalized user ID and passwords for any co-worker or industry professional that you would like to have access. Except with written permission of the data owner, third parties (including DaytaTree staff) do not have access to the drug testing data.

Yes. If you have a policy already in place, then simply enter your testing limits into our Policy Compliance Center, and those limits will be adhered to. However, if you are creating a new policy and intending on following DOT regulations, please note that they have federal required limits to follow what constitutes a positive test.

What involvement is required from my company's IT department?

Because there is no hardware, software, or network equipment to purchase and the application is accessed through a standard Web browser, your IT department probably does not need to be involved in implementing or maintaining the DaytaTree service.
